【摘要】:ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofYoung'smodulus,tangentmodulus,andchordmodulusofstructuralmaterials.Thistestmethodislimitedtomaterialsinwhichandtotemperaturesandstressesatwhichcreepisnegligiblecomparedtothestrainproducedimmediatelyuponloadingandtoelasticbehavior.Becauseofexperimentalproblemsassociatedwiththeestablishmentoftheoriginofthestress-straincurvedescribedin8.1,thedeterminationoftheinitialtangentmodulus(thatis,theslopeofthestress-straincurveattheorigin)andthesecantmodulusareoutsidethescopeofthistestmethod.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
