【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratoryprocedureforthedeterminationofthewoolbasecontentandthecleanwoolfiberpresentinsamplesofrawwool.Thistestmethodisalsoapplicabletootheranimalfiberssuchasmohair,cashmere,alpaca,andcamelhair.Note1SamplingoflotsofrawwoolinpackagesiscoveredinPracticeD1060;thedeterminationofvegetablematterandotheralkali-insolubleimpuritiesinscouredwooliscoveredinTestMethodD1113;thedeterminationofwoolcontentonacommercialscaleiscoveredinTestMethodD1334.Forfactorsfortheconversionofwoolbasecontenttoitsequivalentintermsofscouredwool,top,ornoilofvariouscommerciallyspecifiedcompositions(formerlycoveredintheappendixofthistestmethod),refertoPracticeD2720.Note2Becauseofthetradepracticethetermweightisusedinthistestmethodinsteadofthetechnicallycorrecttermmass.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
