【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetracetotalnitrogennaturallyfoundinliquidhydrocarbonsboilingintherangefromapproximately50to400?C,withviscositiesbetweenapproximately0.2and10cSt(mm/s)atroomtemperature.Thistestmethodisapplicabletonaphthas,distillates,andoilscontaining0.3to100mg/kgtotalnitrogen.Forliquidhydrocarbonscontainingmorethan100mg/kgtotalnitrogen,TestMethodD5762canbemoreappropriate.Thistestmethodhasbeensuccessfullyapplied,duringinterlaboratorystudies,tosampletypesoutsidetherangeofthescopebydilutionofthesampleinanappropriatesolventtobringthetotalnitrogenconcentrationandviscositytowithintherangecoveredbythetestmethod.However,itistheresponsibilityoftheanalysttoverifythesolubilityofthesampleinthesolventandthatdirectintroductionofthedilutedsamplebysyringeintothefurnacedoesnotcauselowresultsduetopyrolysisofthesampleorsolventinthesyringeneedle.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.See6.2,6.4,6.5,6.9,andSection7.
